Paris train stations

Which train station is located at CDG? We wish to travel to Zurich without having to use the Metro to another station. Thanks.

Aeroport Charles de Gaulle TGV.

But it doesn't matter, the trains to Zurich leave from Gare de Lyon.

Other than a taxi/hire car, you're stuck with one change on the rer or no change on the shuttle bus. An hour is plenty for either.

To expand on Ed's answer, there are no trains from CDG to Zurich. It may be possible depending on when your flight arrives to get a train from CDG to Strasbourg, then from Strasbourg to Basel, and finally from Basel to Zurich. But that's probably as much hassle as travelling into Paris.

Trains from Paris to Zurich leave from Gare de Lyon and you have two alternative routes from CDG. By rail you can take the RER Line B from CDG to Chatelet, then any of the RER Lines A or D, or the Metro Line 14 to Gare de Lyon. Alternatively you can get there in one ride by taking the Air France bus route 4 (http://www.lescarsairfrance.com/en.html, available to passengers of any airline, not just Air France) from CDG to Gare de Lyon, although this probably has a greater risk of delays due to traffic.

Yes the change at Les Halles is best to the A or D line. You simply have to take the escalator or elevator up from the platform to the next level, cross to the appropriate track, then take an escalator or elevator down to the platform. The station will be marked Chatelet-Les Halles, it is technically Les Halles and is connected to Chatelet station by underground walkway. This connection is much easier than using the 14 Metro line which requires a bit more navigation and walking. The TGV to Zurich takes about 4 hours.
