10-day itinerary for Provence in late August - What do you think?

I am planning a ten-day trip to the Provence region in late August and hope to have a mix of exploration and relaxation, beach and countryside. We will be traveling from NYC via Paris and are planning to follow the below itinerary. Any recommendations for adjustments to our itinerary? We are wary of very touristy places which we image is hard to avoid dans le sud in late August.
The below is organized by where we plan to spend the night. And is Cassis the right base for our beach leg of the trip?

Marseille: arrive by train, spend the first jetlagged night there.
Arles: Pick up car in Marseille and drive to Arles, visit the town
Arles: Morning Arles, then head to Nimes or Uzes
Luberon: We found a lovely base in Saint Saturnin-Lès-Apt called Le mas perreal. Does anyone know if this is a nice place to stay? And do you have any recommendations for other bases in the Luberon region?
Luberon: explore hill towns
Luberon: relax/hike?
Luberon: explore/relax, Friday flea market in Bonnieux
Cassis: lunch in Aix-en-provence/drive to Cassis
Cassis: beach/calanque
Cassis: calanques
Marseille: drop-off car

Sounds wonderful, but be prepared for huge crowds along costal regions during August. Cassis has very limited parking, during August, it will be close to nonexistent. You will want to have accommodations reserved as soon as possible.

Thank you! We have already reserved a place in Cassis and it comes with parking. Do you think Cassis is a good base for our time by the sea? Or is there another area that would be better?
