Hi !
We can have a flght that leaves at 10:15 from LYS airport. Should we llok with another company or its doable easily ? we would have like to stay 2 nights in Lyon before leaving. I know that there's a train but that would mean to find lodging near the train station...is it an ok location to visit Lyon for a shortime ?

Quand j'etais a Lyon j'ai reste a L'Hotel Ibis qui est dix minutes a pied de la gare.

Je pense que un vol qui part a 10:15 est parfait.
Il y a un train a cote de la gare qui va a l'aereoport en monis de 30 minutes

J'ai pris le metro afin d'aller a l'eglise sur le colline La Notre Dame de Fourvière, neamoins je suis alle a pied partout

Hi,
I have spent several summers in Lyon & taken the Rhône Express train to the airport. It is very easy & can be accessed from several places. The area around Gare Part Dieu is fine. Uber or a taxi are also possibilities. Enjoy Lyon, it is a marvelous city.

Are you asking whether it is feasible to be at the Lyon airport for a 10;15 departure if you are staying in Lyon the night before?

We've stayed in central Lyon with a flight out of that airport even earlier than that, and before the Rhone Express (We took a bus), and had no problem. It just meant getting up at an ungodly hour.

Kim: yes its what i'm asking.
I want to know if taking a flight at 10:15 am on a tuesday at LYS is a major hassle or not !
