1 hour seine tour. Question

once we reserve tickets for Vedette du Pont Neuf for an afternoon or evening cruise, how do we secure a specific time? Just show up? I'm sure that most people want to do an evening cruise - is it difficult to get a seat or get on? We will be there mid-June

You don't need to reserve in advance, just show up and buy tickets before boarding. However, you can buy tickets on their website and get a discount! The on line tickets are good for a year and are not for a scheduled time, again, just show up. There is also a schedule on the website. I did an afternoon cruise, getting there about 10 minutes before the boat was scheduled to leave, bought my ticket, and there were still available seats on the upper deck.

Make sure to get in the correct line for passengers who have already bought tickets. Look for the sign, you won't have to wait in the long admission line.
This is becoming a popular thing to do, and though there are more boats running than ever before, I would recommend arriving 20 mins ahead of the time you'd like to depart, so you can get a good seat.
When the next boat arrives, everyone is ushered to the inner dock, where you stay in line until the boat is ready for you to board. There's a little snack/drink stand there if you need something while you wait.

Note that though the Eiffel Tower will be illuminated after sunset, there is no guarantee that you will see it "sparkle" - this only occurs for 5 minutes at the top of each hour after dark.
