Anyone know of 1 day WW1 battlefield tours from Paris in January 2018?
This really seems a stretch to me , based on location , time of year , and logistics , to say the least . However , you would do well to PM Fred ( San Francisco ) who is a regular poster here , for his advice , which is incomparable .
There are limited tours by ParisCityVision in January. You might want to check them out. Their website is www.pariscityvision.com.
Tours in January might be hard to find. But if you want to do something on your own, you could take a morning train (6:36, 7:36, 8:36 are nonstop) from Gare de L'Est to Chateau-Thierry (45 min). That is the site of the 2nd Battle of the Marne where the US Marines participated in stopping the summer 1918 German offensive. There are memorials, cemeteries, museums on this. Maybe the easiest day trip from Paris.

Bill,
At that time of year, I suspect the tour choices are going to be very limited. Even if there are tours advertised, they may cancel if they don't get sufficient people. You could perhaps book a private tour, but that's likely going to be very expensive. Are there specific battlefields you're interested in?
The Aisne-Marne American Cemetery is just outside of town to the west on a hillside.
