Paris: What neighborhood to stay in Montmartre, Latin Quarter, or Saint Germain?

We'll be in Paris for 5 nights in June. I was in Paris a long time ago, but one of my adult sons has never been. There will be 3 of us which is why I was thinking an Airbnb might be our best bet but I was surprised that there aren't more options that can fit 3 of us. I've seen a handful without airconditioning, should I skip those in June?

I'd suggest editing the title of your post to include "Paris". That will probably attract more attention.

booking.com might be good for research and maybe even booking unless your prefer to book directly.

I will be. a first time visitor to Paris and members have suggested that I stay in the single numbered arrondissements. ...

I asked abut lodging on a post and received many responses. I will see if I can find it my post and attach it.

EDIT. I just found the link. It has a lot of information. Some may not be relevant to you but I think that much will be.

I would want AC in June. I am also not very heat tolerant so it will depend on what you can stand as far as heat.

Just be cautious of apartment rentals in Paris. I always stay in a hotel so no direct experience, just have seen from reading the forum that sometimes there are issues with last minute cancellations.

Erica, you may want to take a look at this thread I started a few months ago. I am taking two of my older grandkids (ages 11 and 15) to Paris in April and asked for recommendations. So there are a lot of suggestions for hotels with family rooms in this thread that you might want to consider. https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/france/three-night-trip-to-paris-in-early-may-with-two-teen-tween-grandkids-what-area-to-stay

FWIW, I wound up booking a hotel with Hotel Left Bank in St. Germain that has rooms for 3-4 people.
