Vegetarian in Auxerre

I'm booked into the Hôtel Normandie for 2 nights a week apart in June. I had thought dinner was included in my tour, but it turns out to to be just B&B, so I'll be looking for a modest restaurant that serves good vegetarian food not too far from the hotel which seems to be centrally located (Boulevard Vauban). On the first night I'll be arriving after a long train journey, and the following week after a long day's walking so expecting to be hungry but not up to coping with a full formal multi-course menu. Any suggestions?

Hi.. if no one here can help.. perhaps contact the hotel.. they would likely have some ideas.

As a long-time vegetarian, I don't even think about whether our not I'll find something on a menu for myself. There's always something - even if I cobble together a meal from two appetizers. I wouldn't even worry about it:)

Thanks for the replies. Perhaps I'll just ask when I get there. I was hoping someone might be able to recommend a specific restaurant.

More people will see your question if you post it in the France section, rather than in the France Reviews section. I don't know if you'll receive anything helpful, but at least there's a better chance over there of finding someone who has some experience. I don't think most people look at this board as often (I know I don't).

Thanks for the suggestion, Kim, but I think I'll ask at the hotel and/or follow Valerie's advice above.
