We are stopping in Troyes on our way between Colmar and Amboise to break up the drive and see the cathedral. Anybody have a hotel recommendation? Thanks

I don't remember where I stayed in Troyes (no access to my records since I'm on the road), but I'm sure it wasn't special. If no one else can help, check to see what's on booking.com.
Troyes is a striking place full of half-timbered architecture. It's rarely visited by Americans but does get a lot of French visitors. Allow time for more than the cathedral; I spent hours just wandering the streets.
