We are visiting Strasbourg this summer and would love to have a nice German
dinner with a view, maybe in La Petite France area. Any suggestions?
Most reviews on tripadvisor are mixed, too touristy, not good food.....
Two restaurants I’d recommend:
Au Pont du Corbeau On the Quai St. Nicholas where you can devour an authentic and delicious Choucroute Garnie. Here’s a link to their Facebook page.
Porcus, which is open only for lunch, is unique. It’s on the floor above their charcuterie. Here’s a link to their website.
If you’re there during season, I’d recommend reservations at either restaurant.
In 2015, we loved le Tire-Bouchon. It was recommended by our hotel and a tour guide. If it was touristy, the tourists sure weren't from English-speaking countries. My husband's ham knuckle with melted muenster cheese on it was fantastic. It was an adventure for us. We ordered the dessert sampler - way too much for two people, but worth it!
