Romantic Parisian Bistro

Looking for suggestions for off the beaten path romantic eatery. Not looking to spend my life's savings but willing to pay for great food, service and atmosphere. Quiet and romantic would be nice. I am also able to speak French.

This is a restaurant, not a bistro, but it's quiet, excellent and won't break the bank considering the quality: Restaurant l'initial in the 5th, rue de Bièvre.

A thank you to janettravels for bringing this restaurant to my attention.

Which Clichy: rue de Clichy, Place Clichy, Blvd. Clichy, Ave. Clichy, Porte de Clichy, or the suburb called Clichy?

Take a look at La Bonne Table on Boulevard Jean Juares. Quiet? Yes. Romantic? Maybe.

Bravo JHK this is a great find, and david will have to use his French. The “carte” is mouthwatering.

I had a lovely lunch in October at Moulin de la Galette which is on Montmartre.
It's beautiful, would probably be romantic after dark, and has excellent food and service.
It's also a historic locale which might be a plus for you.
