Review of hotel Duquesne paris

Recently stayed in the Hotel Duquense Paris. Read about the hotel in a Rick Steeves travel guide. Enjoyed staying in a neighborhood boutique type hotel versus a large "chain" hotel. The neighborhood was well located close to the metro, cafes etc. and The Eiffel Tower was a short walk. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast room was Great ! Truly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if lucky enough to return. Thanks Rick for the great recommendation.

Thanks! We're checking out hotels in Paris for our trip next year. We've booked one in the same area, but I'm still looking, just in case...

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Duquesne Eiffel when we were on the RS Paris and the Heart of France tour in 2013 and liked it so much that we ended up staying there in 2017 for a full week for our 15th anniversary! They have a very good breakfast and some of their rooms have a nice view of the Eiffel Tower.

I really enjoy the relative quiet of the 7th arrondissement and the view of the Eiffel Tower at the beginning and end of every day in Paris.

Hi everyone, I also read Rick Steeves book and I planned a 20 year anniversary trip to London, Paris and Rome. I leave next week and booked the Hotel Duquense Paris as well. I am very excited to read it is a good hotel and close to metro, cafes, etc. Any tips you can share with me would be much appreciated. Day 1 - Arrive by train to Paris, then head to Disneyland. Day 2 - Versailles, Day 3 - Museum self guided tour (Museum Pass), then dinner at Eiffel Tower, Day 4 - Shopping day for my significant other. Never been to Europe and this would be my first time traveling out of the USA. Thanks in advance.

Tip 1. I see you are arriving by train as did we. We arrived at gare du nord and an economical way to the hotel is via taxi, approx. 20 euros, especially with bags. Tip 2 when you check in mention you heard about the hotel from reading a Rick Steeves guidebook and you may receive a free breakfast. Tip 3 when touring with such few days take the On Off bus which will make the most of your time. They sell tickets at the hotel and the pick up point is a short walk. HAVE A FABULOUS!!! Time.
