Review of Hotel Du Levant in Paris

Really nice three star hotel

Fabulous location. The Cluny is at the corner. Notre Dame a few blocks. The largest fresh food mart in Paris is a few doors away. Have not gone yet but will.

Staff is so nice, kind and patient. English spoken well by those at desk

Good internet. Good Continental Breakfast.

Clean and attractive facility and room.

Know that members on forum might be looking for a hotel in Paris. I would recommend Hotel du Levant and I would stay here again.

I wouldn't normally consider staying so close to Bou Mich but this spot looks like a match for my tastes and budget, thanks for posting.

I'm glad you like the hotel. Having a great staff can make all the difference.

I have always found that area to be a bit of a zoo, too loud and crowded for me.

Enjoy your trip.

Everyone is so nice at this hotel. I just love the people here

I continue to really like this hotel

Street is crowded during day and evening but quiet at night.

Where is it not crowded in Paris? I walk a lot. Today I took the Toot Bus. Everywhere was crowded

Phil, what type of room did you have? Did it have a walk in shower or a bath/shower combo? I tried going to the website, but couldn't get as much as info as I would have liked. I'm familiar with the neighborhood and agree it is a great location. Also does it have an elevator?

Hi Laurie Beth

There is an elevator but it is so small that only one person can comfortably fit in. Without any luggage , maybe two people can fit in.

Usually I did not have to wait very long if at all but there is a period in the afternoon when it is shut off to guests so that housekeeping can have exclusive use. However if a guest needs the elevator, they can acommodate you.

There is only a shower. The shower and sink are in one room and the toilet is in another. No bidet.

Nice room on the street but quiet.

I book through booking. If you go to booking, you will read a lot of information and reviews. Has very high ratings which are well deserved.

Really nice place and great staff.

EDIT. I am only describing the room that I had. There may be more expensive rooms with additional features.

Thanks. I did, also, check Booking.com & Tripadvisor.com and got more detail there, too.
