I will be in Avignon next week with three other ladies. We are looking for any restaurant recommendations for 2-3 dinners. Nothing super fancy. Anyone know of anything? Thank you!

We had a wonderful lunch last month at L'Epicerie just a 2 minute walk behind the Pope's Palace.
10 Place St Pierre. Casual but interesting fresh creative food. If weather permits their outdoor seating faces the beautiful St Pierre Church. But the inside was colorful and comfortable too.

I heard good things about this restaurant in Avignon. I was suppose to eat there but cancelled my reservation because I was too tired. Le Goût du Jour

I did eat at Restaurant EAT and recommend it. It served great seasonal food at a very good price. The service was excellent. Be sure to make a reservation so you can get a nice table outside. It is a small restaurant that is in a sort of hidden location so be sure to look out for the signs pointing to the restaurant.
I found there to be lots of nice food options in Avignon and just wished I had spent more than one night there. It may look hokey but take the city train tour near the Papal Palace. It gives you a good overview of the city. Also do some of the Rick Steves audioguide tour on his app. I liked the walk along the wall near the old paddlewheels.
