Regina Boutique Hotel Avignon- highly recommend

Hotel Regina is a stones throw away from outdoor eateries, stores and a five minute walk to the Papal Palace and other museums. A 15 minute walk to the old walls. A quiet hotel for being on a Main Street. A bank is across the street for the ATM. Friends we met two years ago picked us up at the TGV station and parked in a garage and we walked to the hotel (garage to hotel 15 minutes). The price was a little over $100 per night including buffet breakfast. The breakfast was very good. Many breads and pastries, hard boiled eggs and an egg maker for poached eggs, cheeses and meats, cereals, fresh and dried fruits, coffee machine plus multiple juice choices. Our room was very spacious, twin bedded room with very comfortable beds. The bath was quite large for European standards. The shower was large with very hot water and a powerful shower head. Adequate shelf safe for lady things. There is an elevator and air conditioning. We had 90 plus degree days and the ac worked great to being down right too cold. There is 24 hour front desk service. There is a cold drink machine.. soda and water 1 euro! Pretty cheap. The hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer and remember our names! We were there total of four nights divided. Our second stay was one night and we had a triple room. The third bed was a true bed not a convertible couch. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
