Just spent a week in a small but very modern, efficiently designed studio apt. at 76, rue de Richelieu, corner of rue de 4 septembre (2nd arrondissement). Very friendly and responsive owner Pascal lives in the building but also has 15 other apartments around the city. We love to walk in Paris and thought this very well located. Remarkably quiet, set back from the street. Good bathroom, w/d, kitchen space. Not for everyone: up three flights; small table for 2; only other seating is a motorized and extremely comphy Murphy bed that converts to a couch; good lighting inside and from courtyard but no view.
