I would appreciate any recommendations of a hotel either in AIX or the surrounding area. 3 nights in May.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Cardinal. It's in a quiet area and the hotel has cozy French decor. If you stay here ask for an upper floor room because the rooftop views are spectacular!

In 2023 I stayed a couple nights at Les Quatres Dauphins. It was very close to the center, very charming with pleasant staff. I didn't eat breakfast because I was recovering from covid and didn't want to expose anyone to possible germs. I found it via Rick's Provence guide.
