I'm planning a solo vacation in May and want lovely places to stay. Any suggestions for hotels in St Remy or Arles or Lourmarin? I'm looking for a boutique inn/hotel with local charm. Ideally a friendly host, comfortable bed, quiet but walkable location, nice light/decor, bathtub (not essential), beautiful outside space (garden and/or pool) & food options nearby or on site, under $500.

The splurge suggestions in Rick's guidebook are a good bet. His listings near the river in Arles have a bit of the I-don't-know-what in the evenings especially.
