I recommend the above for private tours of Provence. In the link you will see ideas for tours or if you want to design your own you may do that as well. Four hour or eight hour tours are available costing roughly 430 euros to 570 euros per tour. We had Marlene who grew up in Avignon and appeared to be well known wherever we went. She’s very knowledgeable regarding the history of the area and made sure we had a unique experiences. We did three full day tours with her and we had to radically change our plans secondary to my knee injury just before our trip. She was extremely accommodating and designed new tours making our days much more fun than I could have done on my own. This was a splurge for us but well worth the money. Now having been there I can say driving isn’t difficult and I would rent a car next visit but it sure was nice to be able to have a glass or two of wine with lunch since I wasn’t doing the driving.
