Paris - resto/bar with jazz that won't break the bank!

We are traveling to Paris in June - staying in the 15th. Anyone hit on a restaurant/bar where one can sit, relax, have a drink and maybe hear some good jazz - that doesn't charge an arm & leg for that '1 drink'? We speak French well enough to venture out & about and would enjoy sitting among locals. Doesn't have to be in the 15th either! Any suggestions from recent visitors would be most appreciated.

Last year I went to a jazz place in Paris that was fantastic. It's not a place for dinner though, just a place to grab a drink and listen to some great live jazz in a cozy atmosphere. It is called Caveau de la Huchette and is located in the Latin Quarter just south of Ile de la Cite. It's actually below street level in a cave-like venue: http://www.caveaudelahuchette.fr/2/ Highly recommend!

It's a way from where you are staying, but on many weekend mornings on the bridge between Ile de la Cite and Ile St Louis there is a small combo playing New Orleans type jazz for tips. If you are in the area it's a nice way to spend an hour or so.
