We will be in Paris in May and would like recommendations for both lunch and dinner. We are looking for a really nice atmosphere and options for the vegetarians in our group. Mid range as to cost with at least one splurge. We want to taste great Parisian fare, whatever that means. We have not spent much time in Paris before, so just looking for ideas of what others have enjoyed.
Thanks.

Le Tagine in the 11th arrondissement serves great Moroccan food which I happen to think is very Parisian and has vegetarian options. Le Saint Sebastian, also in the 11th is another option. Septime, also in the 11th is another option. I will try to go over some trip notes and come back with some places that are not in the 11th. I stay near Place de la Bastille when in Paris and these three places are top of mind. My go to for mixed groups (vegetarians and meat eaters) used to be Maceo in the 1st but I have not been there in a few years.
Le Souffle
amazing souffles (savory and sweet desserts), soups, salads.
We could eat there nightly.
Le Couple Chou on the left bank
Didon on Rue Dragon in the 6th, also a fantastic wine cellar for wine by the glass.
If you want something authentically Parisian, try Bistro des Augustins. Tiny little place. Specializes in gratins. In the summer you can sit outside, across from the Seine, with a view of Notre Dame. Make reservations, if possible.
For old time Paris atmosphere, check out Le Zimmer.
Hebe restaurant in the 5th is French/Mediterranean and is very vegetarian friendly. They serve meat dishes but always seem to have at least one vegan and one vegetarian starter and main course. The food is excellent and expensive.
