We are staying in the Latin Quarter April 7 and 8 at La Studio Hotel on Bd St. Germain and want to eat Monday night (if possible) in that area, at a good restaurant. It may already be too late to reserve a table, but we are hopeful. We would appreciate recommendations.
I'm not quite sure where on Blvd Saint-Germain your hotel is located? I did a search and am not finding it so if you can give us a cross street that might help with finding something in your neighborhood.
Hébé might be worth a look. Open Monday.
Not traditional French. More of a French/Mediterrenean nouveau fusion with both meat and vegan choices. In the 5th, toward the 6th and not far from Blvd St. Germain. Staff was very gracious (2023).
All convenient/walking from Bd St Germain:
Chez Fernand is open on Mondays

La studio hotel doesn't exist. Both studio and hotel are masculine unlike the feminine article la. So Pam couldn't find it in order to help you. Could you clarify the name and address? There's a Hotel Studia and a Studio Saint Germain des près. Boulevard Saint Germain crosses the 5th and 6th arrondisements. La Closerie des Lilas where Hemmingway use to go is walking distance down Boulevard Saint Michel.
We recommend Chez Fernand Christine (related, but not the same as plain Chez Fernand). https://www.restaurantchezfernand.fr/en/ We ate there at the end of April 2025. Our hotel suggested it for a nice traditional meal, not too expensive, and we debated but went with their recommendation. It is very small, very tight quarters (e.g. move the table out to seat the person at the back), and oh, the food was delicious. They have a regular menu that included beef bourguignon (husband got this, it was the best he's ever had) and a special daily menu that included a veal dish with fresh white asparagus (I got this, it was superb). The clientele was some tourists (from all over, not just US) plus locals, and everyone had reserved ahead for the limited seatings. I will go back when/if we go to Paris again.
