Beth - also you may get more responses is this was posted under France country questions rather than reviews. I think many people use the review section for reporting their experience after return.

Rachel is correct.. I would repost under "France".
I have stayed at the Hotel Le Royal and was satisified.. its less then a 10 minute walk from the station.. and near metro stations etc.

Hotel Le Littre is a wonderful little hotel close to the train station but it's not cheap. Check out their web site.
