Paris Hotel in the 7th

Hello,

Has anybody stayed at the Paris Eiffel Cambronne, Hotel De La Tour Eiffel or the Hotel Royal Phare lately? I am looking for a clean, safe hotel in the 7th. I stayed in the 7th district 4 years ago and loved it and want to stay in the same area. However I am on a very tight budget this time and am having a hard time deciding on accommodations. I would like to stay under $150.00 CAD/USD per night. Any suggestions?

PS
it is for a double room 2 adults.

Is that the Ibis Cambronne? Or somewhere different? If the Ibis, I enjoyed my stay there a few years ago.

Hi--We stayed in a delightful hotel in the 7th district for several days. It is the Hotel du Champ de Mars, and has a write up in the Rick Steve's "France" book. It cost 120 euros for an ensuite double, a bit above your hoped for price. In the heart of Rue Cler, nice staff, good breakfast, small but charming rooms. Check it out on Trip Advisor and other sites.

Last summer we stayed at the Hotel Eiffel Segur. It is in the 15th only a block from the 7th. There was a heat wave and we abandoned the friend's apartment we were staying in for a hotel room with AC. It was clean, quiet, and the staff was very helpful. Looks like it is still about 80 euro a night so affordable as well. No tourists in this neighborhood but still very close to Eiffel or metro. Good luck!

I was going to stay at the Hotel Royal Phare until I heard it was right over the metro and on busy street. I ended up staying at Champs de Mars instead. I really liked the hotel, this was my second stay there. The only thing lacking was AC in July. Windows open up to street and there are a couple of restaurants opened late and lots of noise. As a single traveler I felt very safe there. Good Luck
