Paris Hotel honored our expired credit

I booked and prepaid for several nights at Hotel Lenox in Paris (a recommendation from the RS guide) prior to our May 2020 tour. We just rebooked there for May 2022 and were amazed that they graciously gave us credit for the funds we'd assumed were long gone. We've never stayed there but we already like it. With this focus on doing the right thing, they deserve our business.

That is so heartwarming to hear KC, thank you for sharing. My experience is that the vast majority of French people are wonderful.

We stayed there for our tour in 2016. They were lovely, very accommodating, and it's a great area. Enjoy your trip!

KC, which Lenox is that? I find 2, one in the 7th and another in the 14th.

Good to hear - I have a small credit with them that's expiring in December but I won't be able to use it until next spring. I'll reach out to them to see about getting it extended. Thanks for the tip!

They did the same thing for me back in 2017-18 >> the day before I was to fly to Paris I was rushed to ER with horrific kidney stones. They gave me 6 months to use the credit they gave me, but I wasn't able to get to Paris for 9 months so they extended it. I've stayed there several times and it's an excellent location.

Thanks, KC. We're thinking about spending a few days in Paris next spring before our Loire Valley to the South of France tour, and I'm thinking of staying in a hotel other than our regular (Rue Cler area) one.

For part of a 2015 RS tour and for a few days afterwards, I stayed at the Lenox Hotel in Montparnasse and really liked the hotel and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I had the same experience with Timhotel Montmartre. My voucher expired at the end of 2020, but they were more than happy to honor it. I was very pleased. I extended my stay. I'm headed to Paris on Tuesday.

So good to hear, KC, and definitely giving Credit where credit is due!

We had a similar situation with the Cler Hotel in Paris. Our trip was scheduled for July 2020; 2 rooms and non refundable. The hotel was more than understanding and moved the reservation to July 2021, but due to our ongoing concerns with the virus, we contacted the Cler Hotel yet again and our reservation has been moved to May 2022.I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I can't wait to thank the hotel staff in person!!!
