My wife and I will be in Paris, mid October for 3 days before our river cruise to Normandy. I am looking
For reconditions on dress for this time of year.
For the next ten days Paris will have temps from low fifties to mid seventies. Next year might be different. Last year probably was.
Wunderground will show expanded history.
Pack accordingly.
My husband & I just got back from Paris and it was in 75-78 range, warmer than usual everyone said. We brought light jackets but most of the time didn't need them. A cruise in Oct will probably be a bit different so maybe long sleeves, sweater & light jacket to stash in a bag incase needed.
In late August it was rainy and fall-like. I'd bring layers in case you need them and an umbrella. Bon voyage!!
Spent the whole month of September in Paris and the most glorious weather ever for that month. But have also been there and had rain and cold. Just be prepared with a heavy sweater an umbrella and you should be good.
Happy Travels!
Light layering options are the key to flexibility. On the coldest mornings, you can wear all your layers, then peel some off if you get warm. See also http://www.ricksteves.com/travel-tips/packing-light.
And the weather was..... mid to upper 60's, cloudy, off and on episodes of light rain. :0)
