We get a nice discount on food at O Chateau restaurant in Paris with our Paris Pass. Can anyone recommend it?
I think you should be our guinea pig / bellwether / point person for this place, and let us know what you discover.
Personally, I look at their website and the first thing I see is five flag choices for languages they do, one of which is German.
I don't need to look any further. Does your idea of dinner in Paris include overhearing conversation in German?
But then I did read further and I see positive blurbs from RS and Le Figaro, so I'm less sure of my prejudiced dismissal,
so that's why I think you should go and give us a report.
Based on the experience we had with a wine course there I wouldn't hesitate to try the restaurant, especially at a discount. The spread they put out for wine pairings was great quality and we really enjoyed the class.
Turns out the discount is not for the restaurant, but for 30% off food ordered at the wine bar. Still sounds like a good option though.
The owner, Oliver Magny, has been a guest on Rick's radio show a couple of times, here's one:

Search "O Chateau" for other posts, too.
My husband and I did a wine tasting there two years ago and it was excellent. We didn't eat a meal but had a delicious cheese and cold cuts plate that was great. The wine tasting was really fun and informative.
Also, the owner, Oliver, referenced in a previous post, has written a very funny book that I have at home. Can't remember the name, something about why the French are the way they are. Very tongue in cheek. Will post it when I get home and check the title. Good reading for any Francophile.
