In the Old Town, we enjoyed Le Tire Bouchon, La Carmela (on the Cours Saleya), and La Vogilia (also near the market and Opera).
Based on Rick's recommendation, we also ate at Olive & Artichaut (excellent). Reserve several days in advance. It is a small place, and very popular.
For meals to go, we relied on Rotisserie du Palais (also in the Old Town). Several evenings we brought back delicious lasagna, soup, and salads. Very reasonably priced too.
Near Place Massena, we had enjoyed La Maison de Marie (also recommended by Rick).
Near Liberation Market, we had an excellent meal at La Gauloise.
For eating by the Port, with a great view of the boats, we recommend Port du Bistro.
We enjoyed our dinner at Flaveur.
LOL momentarily bemused. Nice the adjective or Nice, France.
I thought it was the first use when I originally read it. . When writing about the city of Nice, it is helpful to designate it as such.
Thank you for sharing the reviews.
I also enjoyed your trip report.
Did you stay at a hotel or apartment rental?
thank you.
We stayed in an apartment, rented via VRBO.
We also stayed in an apt rented through a local agency, Nice Pebbles.
Thank you MH and Suki.
