My wife & I will be in Nice for 6 days in September. We will be taking a couple of day trips while there. However, the few days we will be spending time enjoying Nice. I am looking at dining options & was hoping for some suggestions from the followers of this forum.
Something romantic, memorable, etc. It's our 30th anniversary!!
We will be staying at the Hotel West End.
Thank you
We enjoyed our meals at Flaveur and it would be appropriate for a special anniversary dinner.

We enjoyed Bistrot d'Antoine in April 2024.
We were in Nice last month and had some very good meals. We weren’t necessarily seeking special occasion restaurants, but we do enjoy quality food and dining. Here are some of the spots we enjoyed in Nice along with one in Antibes. Bon voyage - Silvia
Thank you for your suggestions.
I will post on the France forum as well.
We just spend nine days in Nice and can suggest La Merenda, although it’s tricky and imperative to reserve. No online reservations taken and by phone is difficult too, I ended up walking in one day as I was passing and reserved for the following night. Very small, cash only but terrific daube and pasta with pistou and chocolate mousse, and complete pride of ownership by the owner and single waiter. It will be memorable for sure.
I also highly recommend taking a cooking class or market tour/cooking class with Rosa Jackson of Les Petits Farcis (her cooking school)- a wonderful experience and you’ll get a fantastic lunch as well. Check out her book Nicoise for a sense of who she is and what she does.
And if you can go to Villa Ephrussi in nearby St Jean Cap Ferrat (we took an Uber which worked well).:it is a stunning estate and garden complex and you can have a lively lunch there too.
Enjoy it- we love Nice and have gone three times in the last 12 years.
Thank you for that detailed review of your experience in Nice. WE are so looking forward to our stay there.
