I’ve been looking at various sources, but haven’t found a place that’s just right. My husband doesn’t eat crepes, so that’s out. Salads, soups, bistro fare are all fine. Thank you for your recommendations.
This place is run by a couple who moved to Paris from creole country in 2013:
This place knows how to take good care of American visitors:
These sound wonderful. Thank you so much.
Consider L'Orangerie & Auberge de la Reine Blanche which is on the main street of the Ile Saint-Louis. There is also Cafe Med (near the start of the island) which is good for lunch in addition to dinner. St. Regis is on the same street and has a great breakfast for just a little money, and in the evening they have a small plate of cold cuts and other items that are not that expensive. You should be able to google them and see if they appeal to you.
Another recommendation for l’Orangerie!
Thank you, all, for these suggestions. I wish we could try all of them!
You might want to try La Dame de Pic. It offers a variety of delicious dishes like wonderful salads, flavorful soups and classic bistro cuisine. The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality and location near Notre-Dame. Another option is Chez L'Ami Jean.
Thank you very much. These look amazing!
