Nice hotel for family of 4 in Paris

Hi - I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a nicer hotel in Paris for a family with two teens for a trip in early April. I will be booking two rooms, and I am looking for something in the $300-$600 USD range per room per night, and that has a good location for sight seeing and walking around. Thanks!

I recommend the Brittanique Hotel near the Hotel de Ville. The rooms are usually near the top end of your range, but I can't verify the cost as their calendar shows fully book for months. This may mean you have to contact them to reserve. Another plus is they have a few connecting rooms, which is unusual for France.

Take a look at the Brittanique in the 1st. It is beautiful, and the location is excellent. We stayed in two rooms there and it was ideal for that visit.

We have also had two rooms at the Muguet, but I like the central location of the Britannique better.

We have always stayed in several apartments, which I don't know if you are considering. Those are especially nice in that you can do your own breakfasts, and cook or bring in premade dinners and eat at your leisure. With teens that is a good option, or at least it was for us.

Le Prince Regent in the 6th is an apartment style hotel. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, Le Flâneur - large lounge/dining area, kitchen, two toilets. They also have a 3 bedroom. Highly recommend and within your budget. It's kind of late to be booking for April. Good luck!

The 4 hotels on Ile St Louis, the little island next to Notre Dame is ideal imo and where i love staying.
Hotel St Louis en l’Isle and Hotel de Lutèce are my two favorites there.
The island is in the very center of Paris, surrounded by the river with amazing views. So easy to walk from there to so much you’ll want to see and do.

If you are interested in an apartment, there are two apartments that are connected that are very nice for @ 700 euros per night. My husband and I stayed in one of the two in 2013. At that time they were managed by Thierry of Paris Best Lodge. For the past few years, those apartments have been very well managed by Michel. One has a bedroom, living room with sleeper sofa, washer/dryer and kitchen. The other is a studio. They are in the 5th arrondissement just a few minutes from ND.
They are listed in AirBnb. This is the link in French that I have

We rented from ParisBestLodge. The apartment we got was awful and Thierry was horrible. I highly recommend avoiding them like the plague.

Susan, Thierry no longer manages those apartments. It is Michel and has been for several years, now. The original Paris Best Lodge was wonderful. Paris Best Lodge no longer exists. Unfortunately, something happened with Thierry and the apartments he later managed. I will not rent with him again. Michel is an entirely different story. Just look at the reviews on AirBnb.
This is the flat we stayed at 10 years ago under Thierry, now managed by Michel. It was @ $150 a night but now is almost $500!

We rented from Paris Best Lodge ages ago as well and had very good experiences. I always wondered what happened to them, and wondered if they were part of the unregistered apartment issue.

mikliz97 I think something went haywire with Thierry. Those very same apartments are now managed by Michel on AirBnb. We just rented "Tenderness" in September 2023 during the heatwave and were pleased.

I did just Google PBL and they are still in business with Thierry as manager! YIKES! There are three apartments that do not look appealing.

Good to know Lindy. YIKES is right.

The photos of the apt we rented on Ile de la Cité looked very good, but they must have been taken 20 yrs earlier because the apt was disgusting. And so was Thierry.

Lindy--that is too bad. Glad they are managed by someone else though. There is one apartment that was on that PBL that we rented, but it was a partner thing, so we rented from the owner who was a lady. She was lovely! I think it was an illegal apartment though. I still have my emails from with that owner, so I should see if she still owns it etc as it was perfect for us. I had to laugh, that green apartment is the one my SIL stayed on on their honeymoon. They were the bad Americans and while we heard some stories from them, but I can only imagine the rest.
