Nice France accomodations

My wife and I are considering taking a month long trip to Nice in November. However, I'm worried it might be too much time in one city. If a month does becomes too long in once place we have considered maybe two weeks in Nice and maybe 1 week in two other cities that might be interesting and easy to get to by train. We do like wine so near vineyards is maybe good but also just to relax and enjoy the cities and local flavor mostly. I kitchen would be good but not critical. We would be flying in and out of Nice or at least that the plan.

Take a look at AirBnB. I found several nice-looking apartments in the Liberation neighborhood, near the Borriglione tram stop, which is the second one north of the train station. I stayed at a friend's apartment in this area in late November 2018, and it was perfect. The tram goes to the beach in 10 minutes. There is a large market every day but Monday where you can buy everything you need to prepare a meal in your place.

I did look up Vineyards and Wineries near Nice and was surprised that there were so many! They do have Winery Tours starting in Nice. I just always think of Nice as the Beach Front; but the maps show a metropolitan city with lots of things to see and do. Be sure to go to the Old Town and the Chagall Museum. There are several small seaside towns and hillside villages; you can make daytrips. You can go to by train or a tour to Avignon. You can take buses to Cannes or Monaco.

Based on a recommendation from this forum we rented an apartment from Nice Pebbles for our visit in April 2024. They have a large selection of apartments in all areas of Nice. Would absolutely do it again if we return.
