I am trying to find a castle in the Loire that takes guests. My princess granddaughter requires a nice, big one.
Can't seem to find one with her demands. Thoughts? Have you found one and stayed there?

I don't think you'll find too many castles that are hotels. But there are many Chateau Hotels in the Loire. If you google Chateau hotels and the town you're interested in, you should find something. We stayed in a lovely Chateau near Amboise, the Chateau du Pray, but you may not like it because it is quite small. A selling point for us, but still...

I liked Chateau du Pray as well. We also enjoyed a lovely, special dinner there as well. As Cjean said, its a chateau, and I think that is what you meant.

I stayed at Château de la Bourdaisière a couple years ago it was nice and the cost was reasonable.
