Hi, I am looking to drive down the coast from Brittany, and want to know if anyone knows of a good but not too pricey place to stay. I am currently on crutches, so can't walk much to see the beach, but the beach is what I'm pining for. Can anyone help?

I can recommend several to you.
(1) Pierre & Vacances Residence Le Phare de Trescadec in Audierne which you can book on Expedia or Booking.com for around $78 a day. It overlooks the sea and has easy access to the beach.
(2) L'Ascott Hotel in Saint Malo which is on booking.com , Expedia.com and Hotels.com at $88 a night.
(3) This is a splurge and at $157 a night is a steal for what you get- Chateau de la Flocelliere . www.chateaudelaflocelliere.com/uk This is the English site for it. It is in the Vendee area.
