Montmartre hotel recommendations?

We have one night in Paris before we depart back to the USA (after 2 weeks in Provence, Cotes du Rhone, and Burgundy). Hoping to stay in Montmartre, as we have always wanted to do that but have preferred other arrondissements for our previous more extended stays.
I am wondering about good hotel recs for just the one night...ideally right in Montmartre or very nearby. Welcome any advice!

The above hotels on the Montmarte hill look fantastic.

If you want a cheaper/good value room, still nicely-themed, check out local mini-chain Astotel hotels. Most of their locations are around the 9th, some a couple blocks from the foot of Montmarte. My first three adjectives are friendly, comfortable, and cute.

Thank you all for these excellent suggestions! I looked into both La Terrasse and Hotel des Arts--great places that alas, don't have availability on our dates. They are a little more high end, but it is Paris and are good suggestions for that area.

I did know that you can access the rooftop terrace at La Terrasse without being a guest....this was something on my list last time we were in Montmartre but we ran out of time. This time, we'll go for a drink/nibble and for the views!

We went with Hotel Palm ( part of the Astotel chain) and I'm looking forward to it!. Such great reviews and they all look really great. Lots of locations--will keep this in mind for future trips. Prices do vary of course for any of these places--turns out our need for a Saturday night in October (or at least the one we need) bumps the price point up a few notches, but I appreciate that this chain apparently will take one-night stays, whereas not all others do.

Thanks again for the feedback--really helps as always!
