Two couples of us are spending 2.5 weeks in France. Moving from Paris to Alsace to Burgundy and back to Paris. Want to stay in a small town for a few days. We have stayed in Beaune and loved it (Hotel Des Remparts), but want to stay more in the country in Burgundy this trip. Would like a restaurant at hotel if possible. Looking at Rick's recommendation of Le Chevreuil in Meursault, but cannot find any recent reviews of this. They are all pre covid? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
My wife and I stayed 6 nights in Meursault in Sep 2021. We had dinner at Le Chevreuil, but rather than a hotel stayed in a lovely apartment. Two couples could stay in that particular apt, and there is also a door to an adjoining unit that can be unlocked. The review with link to the property is posted on the forum (note that the managers have a few apts in Meursault, Pommard, etc): https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/france-reviews/review-of-burgundy-lodging-la-grange-by-location-burgundy-excellent
Additional info about our stay are in our trip report (part 6): https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/trip-reports/trip-report-france-28-days-aug-sep-loire-dordogne-languedoc-roussillon-lyon-burgundy-honfleur
Thanks, Geoff. That is very helpful. We definitely want to look in to this?
