Looking for great stops for chocolate in Paris

My family will have a 2-hour or so break in our vacation schedule on a Monday in late June in Paris (around 11:00-13:00).

We are all chocoholics and would love to chart a mini chocolate tour to stop by several places to sample different chocolates. We'll be visiting the Eiffel Tower that morning and need to be near the Champs Elysees by 13:30.

Would greatly appreciate any suggestions for great shops in this area.

Thank you.

Laduree is on the Champs Elysees and they have wonderful pastries, macroons and all kinds of deserts. They also have other locations in Paris. You may want to take a look at this wonderful place.

For chocolate ice cream consider Berthillon at 31 rue St. Louis en l'IIe. TC

As well as the ones mentioned in the walks, I really like Richart, which is at 258 Boul St Germain. Also, a bit out of your way, but I strongly agree with Jacques Genin. Finally, there's Alain Ducasse's Manufacture de Chocolat at 40 rue de la Roquette near the Bastille.

+1 for Jacques Genin, for the hot chocolate. It would be a disservice to call it thick and rich, it's just unbelievable. It's their bar chocolate which is melted to order upstairs, they bring you a small (well, not that small) pitcher of it with a cup.
Along with with the hot chocolate, try one of their mille-feuille-also made to order. If they have the lime-basil tart, I recommend that too. For these non-chocolate items, consider them lunch ;-).

Don't forget the incredible assortment of chocolates in the case up front. They open at 11:00 a.m.

Here's a photo of the whole deal

And the mille-feuille

It's a nice place!
