Les Tilleuls d'Ellisee a Great Addition to Rick's French Book

Apparently, Les Tilleuls is a new in the France 2015 book, and it couldn't be a better addition. This B&B has the feel of an old farmhouse (it's been in the owners' family for three generations) and has a grove of olive trees, fruit trees, and friendly chickens, but it's right in Vaison la Romaine. In fact, it abuts the back of the Notre-Dame de Nazareth Cathedral. You feel like you're in the country, but are only 3-4 blocks from the town square. And, your walk there takes you past the Roman ruins. The rooms are spacious and have the French country feel but with the amenities that a modern traveler needs (like sufficient plug-ins for charging electronics). Laurent and Ann are most pleasant and accommodating, and serve a sumptuous and bountiful breakfast. They are also very helpful in planning excursions. And, this town is a wonderful location for exploring the Cote-du-Rhone. A great place and a real value!
