We are considering a 12-day stay there. We know Paris but haven't stayed in this hotel. Anyone know it? And, does any one have a recommendations for a good mid-range hotel in the 7e/Eiffel Tower area for late March/early April? I hear Le Walt is good.
Hi, I have stayed at LeWalt maybe 5 times over the years. I haven’t been there since the pandemic though.
The executive rooms are a good size with effective sound proofing. The area is great. Lots of restaurants and easy walking distance to many sights. The staff was always helpful and air conditioning worked well, although that’s less of an issue for March/April.
During my last visit to Paris, the Le Walt was very expensive so I stayed, for the first time, at another Inwood property…Le Marquis. It was also good and in the same general area but further from rue cler. Have a great trip.

I like to stay in that neighborhood but have never stayed at Le Walt. I usually go with Hotel Relais Bosquet or Hotel Muguet which are both within a block or 2 of Le Walt. When I was looking for October 2024 the Relais Bosquet seemed pretty pricey so I went with Muguet and an older hotel, Hotel Beaugency. Last time I stayed at Beaugency it needed a refurb (chipped paint, etc) but was clean and the staff is nice.
I've stayed in at least half a dozen hotels in the area so if something else catches your eye, let me know as I might have stayed there.
Rick's tours often stay at Beaugency and at Hotel Londres Eiffel.
editing to add: Le Walt is on a busier street than any of the ones I mentioned.
Hotel Empereur near the Eiffel Tower was a delight for us….near Rue Cler as well and we loved that location.
