Yesterday our family of 5 ate at the Provence France guide book recommended Soleileis ice cream /sorbet and it was fine (just a few blocks from our wonderful 4 night stay at Hotel La Muette in Arles), but this evening (Dimanche aka Sunday when many establishments are closed) on the SE corner of the Arles square Place de la Republic “Glaces de Maitre Artisan - Glacier Arelatis” ice cream and sorbet was OUTSTANDING and gets our entire family vote.

Brian, It looks like a taste test is in order. Maison Floris is open tomorrow, Monday, whereas Arelatis is closed on Mondays. Both of these are going on my must-try list. Merci!
