Hotels near Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte

We are considering renting a car at CDG and eventually driving to Amboise. Since we will be jet-lagged we want to stay the first night near Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte (after touring it) because it is only about an hour from CDG. We would like recommendations for budget hotels near the château.

I see on the map the town of Melun. It has an Ibis Styles hotel that might fit your needs (free parking & about 10 minutes from Chateau) I've never stayed there, but I have been to the Chateau and it is fantastic. I was told it was the inspiration for Versailles.

Everything went very well. We found a very good “chambres d’hôtes” (French-style B&B) in Moisenay, the little town where Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is located. It was practically next door to the estate, a minute's drive away from the parking lot. It was a new yet charming house, immaculate with beautiful grounds including a swimming pool, which was of course closed in March but would be great in summer. The hosts were a lovely couple, very hospitable. Their English was limited but good enough, and they tolerated and I think even appreciated my attempts to use my extremely limited high school French. We went there before we went to the Chateau, at least 2 hours before the official check-in time because we had medication that needed to be refrigerated (long story) and they were very understanding and put the medication in the fridge for us while we went and toured the Chateau. It was very beautiful and interesting and the perfect activity for our jet-lagged arrival day. We were able to make full use of this day without taxing ourselves. The next day we drove to Blois and toured the Chateau and town before driving the rest of the way to our hotel in Amboise.

We booked the B&B on booking.com because it was easier than using our limited French to book directly. The price was €72 including tax. The breakfast was definitely continental, not much quantity but high quality. This was such a nice experience that I would like to list the B&B contact info but I'm not sure if that's kosher. If I don't hear any objections within a few days I will post again with the info.
