please suggest a hotel or area in Paris that is suitable for a family of 6 including 4 young adults (late 20's) . something that is walking distance to everything and has a some nightlife. we will be in Paris for the Marathon. we would need 3 bedrooms...thank you

Nothing is within walking distance, assuming you mean a walk of 30 minutes or less, to everything. As mentioned above, budget is critical. There are literally hundreds of hotels in Paris that could offer you three rooms. I mean I could suggest Hotel Lutetia https://www.hotellutetia.com/ but if $800 per room per night is not your jam, it is not a very useful suggestion. If the budget works, you probably cannot do better than the Lutetia unless you want to be in a more hip area which brings me to my next question. What kind of nightlife — restaurants and bars or booming club scene, for example?
