looking for nice hotel in nice. . walking....preferably in old city ... PLUS also searching fro best way to travel from nice to monte carlo to board cruise...

We stayed here and loved it, but it's more of a self-catering apartment hotel than a full-service hotel, if that's what you want.
We took the bus from there to Monaco. It is more scenic than the train, and it's not a long trip. However, if you will have a lot of luggage, that probably wouldn't be suitable.
