My husband and I are going to be in Paris for a few days first part of October this year. We’re looking for recommendations for a mid priced hotel with great breakfasts in the Montmartre area. We don’t know the area that well and also know some areas are not the safest. TIA

I've stayed at the Timhotel Montmartre many times. The walk from the metro station is not bad if you don't mind the hill. The square outside can be noisy at night as it is a gathering spot.
Breakfast is good, but I wouldn't call it great. If you want something more substantial, walk down to the Rue des Abbesses where there are lots of restaurants.
Very safe area with the usual caveats. Be aware for pickpockets. Don't leave your phone on the table.
