I will be visiting a family member who is living in Paris for a year ion a small apartment. Does anyone have a recommendation for a reasonably priced hotel in the 14th arrondissement?

Hotel Apollon Montparnasse. The 14th is a pretty big arrondissement so I hope that this is in a location that works for you if you want to be close to your relative.

Hôtel Mistral on Rue Cels is a terrific boutique hotel, close to Montparnasse cemetery and a fine market street, Rue Daguerre. Closest Metro is Gaîté on Av du Maine.

The 14th is very large with multiple metro lines, an RER line and dozens of stations. You need to be more precise about location within the 14th for our answers to be of any help. For example, what are the closest metro stations?
