Hotels for 3 adults in Paris

We are looking for hotel recommendations in the Saint Germain des Pres area. We are looking at triple rooms and AC is a must since we will be there in the middle of summer. We would like to stay in the $250 to $300/night range. Based on our research, our top 3 choices so far are: HOTEL LE M SAINT GERMAIN, HOTEL HENRI IV, and HOTEL RÉSIDENCE DES ARTS.

Any feedback on these 3 hotels would be appreciated and other recommendations in the area in that price range. We will be traveling with our 16 yo and a little more room would be nice (we know the rooms will be "COZY").

Also, we had a recommendation for Hotel Raspail Montparnasse. We thought that may be a little too far away (a lot more walking). Is this area too far away from walking to the attractions?

Thank you for your input!

hi athughes
you have this post in france reviews, i would transfer to france subject. this is usually for places people have already stayed at and posting their reviews of place or area.
in the mean time don't know your dates and how long you plan to stay in paris. A/C is really a "luxury" and not many have it or if si the price goes up up up.
check out these couple places for apartments which i think will be better for family.
shortstay-apartments.com/paris
paristay.com
citadines place d' italie paris
alcove&agapes.com (look under accomodation - unhosted - and marie-francoise #285)
aparthotel adagio paris tour eiffel or bercy village.
booking.com put in filters on left side
i haven't looked your hotels but as you say "COZY". i feel you'd be much happier in an apartment, it's your vacation and your money. jope this helps you out, once all is decided no more stressing.

do not rent a place without ac .
I travel to Paris almost every summer , anytime between late May and sept , I never spend more than about 160-170 euros ( and have often spent less ) and I haven’t gone without Ac ! It’s actually a fairly common amenity now .

All three of the hotels you have listed are well located , have you read the reviews in them ? Have you confirmed the bedding ( ie three single beds or a double and one single ?)

The hotel near Monparnasse is in a good area too , and near enough to a metro to get anywhere you want , I mean there is no o e area that allows you to walk everywhere anyways , however yes a hotel nearer the river than farther does make it even easier to walk to more places ( but not everywhere ) but ( and I do t know this ) if room at that hotel is larger you may want it just for the space

I haven't stayed at any of the 3 hotels you mention. However have you looked at the Andrea Hotel just off Rue d' Rivoli on the edge of the Marais? They have some triples. It is clean, basic and really well located. Also, have you considered AirBnB? I have used them in the US, but am trying one in Paris next October. I am traveling with 2 other adults and couldn't find anything that met their requirements and my budget. We found a lovely apt near the Opera Garnier for about $320 a night with all taxes, etc. It is a registered, legal apt with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, washer, 1 bathroom with separate room for toilet which will help with 3 adults sharing. The hosts seem very nice, apt looks quiet and lovely and we are excited to be living in Paris even if for only a few days.
