Paris Hotel review for San Regis?

Any thoughts on the Hotel San Regis in Paris?

It is a small townhouse that was built as a private home in 1857 but transformed to a small hotel in 1923. As such, it doesn't have some amenities (like an elevator) though it is well located and pretty.

The previous answer is very similar to what I saw at the Selected Escapes website about the San Regis.

What they say is

Originally built in 1857 as an elegant townhouse and transformed into
a 5 star hotel in 1923, the Hotel San Régis and has remained at the
height of fashion and prestige ever since.

The official page of the hotel says

Today, the San Régis is often referenced among the finest properties
in the world (Andrew Harper’s Hideaway Reporot, Condé Nast Traveler
Gold List, Travel + Leisure).

The Hôtel San Régis has been officially rated 5 Stars on July 30th,
2012, according to the new hospitality rules implemented in France.
The constant efforts of Georges' Family and the San Régis team are
awarded again placing the hotel at the Paris top position.
