Hotel near Latin Quarter

Has anyone stayed at or have experience with `Villa Pantheon in the 5th or Hotel Unic Renoir Saint Germain in the 14th? We will have 4 teenagers with us so looking for something easily walkable to eateries and a Metro station. Open to other suggestions as well in the 5th, 6th, or 7th.
Thanks in advance!

A friend and her kids stayed at Minerve in the Latin. They liked it. I stayed at their more moderately priced sister property next door, Familia, with my two daughters. We liked the Parisian building with windows, and the location was great. It was a couple blocks from metro stop but walkable to most places. We liked a restaurant close by, St. Victor.

EDITED TO ADD:
Jane, if you want more responses, you might consider placing this in Destination Q &A. People do find it confusing, but, generally, trip planning questions such as hotel suggestions are intended to go there.

hey hey janeylou17
when is this trip and budget in euros?
i would stay in the 5th, 6th or 7th. we stayed in the 14th few years ago, good apartment but much further away when we wanted to see the sites, took a taxi into town at notre dame. lots of walking but things are closer with what i think you want. many restaurants/transportation around. with your large group, you may need 2 triple rooms or 3 doubles. rooms are small in paris and i would want more than 1 bathroom, plus what size are the beds.
have been told paris is one of the busiest cities with lots of people traveling so be prepared for crowds, some long lines at attractions, since many want to see the same as you. we would look for a cafe outside with less people sitting or grabbing a bite and going to gardens to sit and people watch.
look at booking.com and fill in filters, see what's available or check tripadvisor.com under vacation rentals. we have used this site for few rentals with 3 to 4 friends. with crackdown on apartments/airbnb's/vrbo took me awhile to find something. ggod luck

Our go-to place to stay in Paris has been the Familia Hotel that jules m mentioned. I’ve also stayed once at their Minerve sister hotel next door. Both are in the Latin Quarter, not just near it.
