I'll be in Paris for 3 nights at the end of September before going on to Bayonne for the RS Basque tour. The area around this park would be a convenient Midway between the sites we want to see for that brief stay. My RS guide does not seem to cover that area so looking for some three star type Hotel recommendations. My main motivation is so that I'm not too far from the montparnasse train station which is where we'll leave for Bayonne. Splitting my time between Notre Dame and area for one day and then the Louis Vuitton Museum and marmaton museums at the other end of town for one day any other advice on this itinerary would be great. Hoping to get an in-depth tour of the rebuilt Notre Dame. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the suggestions. I opted for Hotel Bonaparte. The price was great for 3 nights and is well located for our needs. Hoping to take the train from CDG to the hotel, and looks like only 10-15 min walk. Will give us a short walk to the Montparnasse station when we need to leave for Bayonne.
Since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, is there a nice cafe nearby for breakfast?

If you want a great boulangerie, stop by Maison Mulot on Rue de Seine; about a 5 minute walk from your hotel. (It's not a cafe though, but worth a stop to at least admire.)
