We will be returning to Paris after a few days in Normandy/Bayeux. Then have a morning train to Germany. Anyone have a recommendation for hotel near Gare de l'Est? We don't need anything fancy, just something moderate.

We have stayed at Le Citizen 2 or 3 times. It's an easy walk to/from Gare de l'Est.

We used Ibis Hotels while traveling in Europe. There is one near Gare de l'Est. It is a basic chain. All rooms the same, only 2 people .per room.
