Hotel for Family of 4in Paris

Hello,

Looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for 2 adults and 2 teenagers in Paris this summer. Any recommendations? I have stayed in many different areas of Paris. I like the Marais, Luxembourg Gardens, and the 9th but I am open to other areas also. We will be there in late July.

Thank you for any ideas. Hotel or AirBNB.

What’s your definition of reasonably priced?

Summer months mean higher accommodation prices.

I understand that Summer means higher prices. We were hoping for under $200 per night but even closer to $150 per night. Also we understand that it might be a little higher.

Hotel rooms that sleep 4 in actual beds (not a sofa bed) are VERY hard to find in Paris. We are a family of 4 with two teens over 6’ tall. I looked long and hard for options for our trip in Nov. 2019. I ended up bumping our budget up and getting two hotel rooms. You just don’t find rooms with two queen beds in Europe very easily. I looked at apartments, too.

I think you will either need to increase your budget or stay farther from the city center, and you’ll end up with two hotel rooms.

Late July? as in when the Tour de France ends? if so book soon. I would recommend an Airbnb with 4 people rather than a hotel room which is just a bed room. Any area works, just be close to a metro stop or a taxi stop. J

We stayed at Citidines near Notre Dame. Our "family room" had a separate room with a queen bed, and another room with a pull-out sofa for the teens and a mini kitchen. It was within walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louver, and our room had a widow that opend up and looked right out over the Siene. The room gave us two spaces after a long day of being together.
Saint Michels Metro was very close by.

We always have good luck with Les Jardin d'Eiffel. We have a family of 6 with 5 of them being over 6'3" so we typically have to go with multiple rooms though. Good luck!
